My wife and I first met Emilie several tears ago through a mutual friend Mick. Our first impressions of Emilie which I have to say remained the same throughout, was of someone who had a loving glow, showing interest and care for others, and an honest free spirit whose positive attitude amazed us both. When you consider the huge hurdles she faced over health issues, she remained full of optimism, Emilie had a strong personality that overshadowed most obstacles. The last time we met was in late summer, we talked about lock down and how difficult it was but how she remained up beat through hard times. We were both shocked and saddened when we heard the news.
